QotD for 15 Dec., 2009

On the occasion of the birthday of the creator of Esperanto...
"I am profoundly convinced that every nationalism offers humanity only the greatest unhappiness... It is true that the nationalism of oppressed peoples -- as a natural self-defensive reaction -- is much more excusable than the nationalism of peoples who oppress; but, if the nationalism of the strong is ignoble, the nationalism of the weak is imprudent; both give birth to and support each other..." ---L. L. Zamenhof

David, darlin', please post a pic of your new kitty! I want to go SQUEEE and attempt to jump through the computer to hug said kitty!

BTW, recv'd a somewhat cryptic post from "Anonymous" that I rejected. Not because of content (tho' I didn't understand the comment ;) but because I'd rather folks attach some sort of name to their comments. Even if it's a made-up moniker.

Tracie, I think I'll try to get kitten pics up on Facebook. Want to "friend" me there ? :)

It might be easier if you friend me; my last name is in the title of my blog. I don't know yours and thus wouldn't be able to find you among the many Davids on FB! LOL

Oh dear, I didn't realize that (for reasons unknown to me) my ordinary blog was not showing on my profile!

Now you can find me. :D
