Say, my friend. I have trying to find an Episcopal/Anglican blog for over three years. They are very hard to use. All kinds of registering, codes, and you never get a response. So I saw yours; have tried six today with no luck.Got any suggestions. I have a blog where I commented on this very issue today. Thanks. John Haynes
First Episcopal answer in 3 years. Some of the blogs never respond, others haven't posted in years. The only one I could get in was Madpriest. I sent my stepsons there and all they got were slurs, insulting remarks, demeaning comments. Is that blog the kind of "official" blog for Anglicans. I cannot get on Episcopal Cafe. I bet I'm just confusing you. Do you know some Episcopal blogs that are alivee.:) Thanks. Jack
Well, I can't speak to the situation at Madpriest's, as I don't recall the specific situation. I've found the people there quite supportive myself. But that site is the individual work of one person - and I'm sure he'd never present himself as an "official" anything ;)
We've listed the std. mainstream-to-progressive Episcopal blogs & news sites on the sidebar at the Friends of Jake.
If you're of the more conservative persuasion, I don't know how much I can help. But you could Google the Rev. Canon Kendall Harmon and visit his website...
David, I'm not "conservative." Indeed my wife and I would probably be at the "stake" a few hundred years ago, even though we are Catholic. But thanks for the help. Jack
I'm a regular, middle-aged guy from the N. Texas suburbs. Center-Left (with some, non-crazy, Libertarian-ish tendencies), INFP, Progressive Christian (Episcopalian tribe).
This is where I write about technology, politics, culture, religion, and other things I pretend to know something about.
The site is called The Knowledge Box not out of an inflated sense of my own mental capacity, but because it is the humorous (and slightly sarcastic) nickname I received from my wife and son for my vast store of semi-useless trivial knowledge.
